Making a card background with heat embossing using the Prized Peony stamp set from Stampin' Up!

 Today for the first time I tried a technique for the first time. I wanted to make my own background using embossing powder and my heat tool. I must say I love how it turned out. It is so addictive watching the powder turn to shine with the heat. This stamp set is a great one for this technique. These color combinations are so

 I love this whale done bundle from Stampin' Up! I have used this set a few times now and it is so addictive!!  So I decided to make a card using this bundle and to make my own designer series paper with my stamps. Weekend Creative Challenge Stampin' Up Canada

I love being part of a great stampin' up! community. One of our facebook groups put out a creative weekend challenge. So I pulled out my merry moose bundle and created this cute christmas card. This card also features the woodland embossing folder and it goes so well with this adorable little moose. What a great card for a future card class!!

Pretty Prized Peony card from Stampin' Up!

  I am loving this prized peony bundle from stampin' up! I have made 2 cards now and I can't wait to make more. I will be arranging some card classes with this beautiful suite. Birds and Branches bundle from Stampin'Up!

Oh my goodness I can't say enough about this beautiful bundle from Stampin' Up!  When I first received my catalog in June of 2020 and I seen this set I knew I had to have it. I played with it for the first time last night and I know this will be one of my favourite go to bundles for my card making and video tutorials. I did two cards and only changed the color choices and even subtle changes can make a big difference. After my first card done in pinks I decided to try the same card in costal cabana and I love that one too!  On the second card I decided to add a color border around my sentiment and I think it made a huge difference. I think I will design some card classes around this sweet bundle.
